The island itself plays host to some of the best FISHING, SNORKLING, SAND TABOGGANING, FOUR WHEEL DRIVING, WHALE WATCHING and SURFING South East Queensland has to offer.

The island also hosts a number MIGRATORY BIRDS, with the occasional NESTING TURTLE on the beach in Summer, as well as year round DOLPHIN FEEDING at TANGALOOMA RESORT. You can access the island via COMBIE TRADER BARGE from REDCLIFFE or MI CAT from the PORT OF BRISBANE. Once on the Moreton you must have a FOUR WHEEL DRIVE as there are no roads. Four wheel drives are available for rent either from Brisbane/Redcliffe or on the Island itself.
